I’m a Christian and my faith strongly influences my politics. I’m a libertarian. The libertarian philosophy, like the Christian philosophy, is that all people should be treated with respect. Someone from another country wants to work here? Welcome! A young man trying to save money just needs a mattress in a shed to sleep on and a homeowner is cool with that? That’s their business and they deserve enough respect to be allowed to make their own life choices.
People have told me that a true Christian should embrace woke philosophy, but Bryan’s parody points out the problems. Woke philosophy doesn’t have a place for forgiveness, so that’s contrary to Christianity. Woke philosophy puts people into groups. Much of the New Testament talks about overcoming boundaries. Jesus ministers to Romans, outcasts, and so on.
